Delivery & Returns

Buying one-off jewellery online should be straightforward. I carefully pack each order and use tracked delivery services so your jewellery can be followed from dispatch to delivery. Below is a quick guide to delivery and returns, with links to the full policies where you need more detail.

Delivery

Dispatch: I aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 business days after your order has been placed and payment has been confirmed. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Tracking information is provided once your order has been dispatched.

UK: All UK orders are sent free of charge using Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Republic of Ireland: Orders are sent free of charge using fully tracked FedEx delivery unless otherwise stated.

EU & international: Orders are sent using a fully tracked service, with FedEx used wherever possible. If FedEx is unavailable or unsuitable for a particular destination, another trusted tracked courier may be used. International shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

Import Duties & Taxes

Ps Its Vintage is based in Northern Ireland. Orders sent directly from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland and other EU destinations are not normally subject to import duties or customs charges on delivery. Any VAT due will be handled as part of the sale where required.

Orders sent to destinations outside the UK and EU may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees or carrier handling fees. Unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are the customer's responsibility.

Returns

For online orders, please notify me within 14 days of receiving your order if you wish to cancel and return an item. Once you have notified me, the item must be sent back within a further 14 days.

To start a return, please email sales@psitsvintage.co.uk with your order number and the item you wish to return. I will provide the correct return address and instructions. Please contact me before sending anything back.

Item Condition & Security Label

You may carefully inspect and try on the jewellery in the same way that you reasonably could in a shop. The item should be returned in the condition supplied, unworn beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect or try it on, unaltered, and with any box, certificate, accessories and packaging supplied with it.

The Ps Its Vintage security identification label must remain intact and attached while you inspect or try on the jewellery. Please remove it only once you are certain that you wish to keep the item.

Removal of the label does not automatically remove a statutory cancellation right. However, a return without the original label intact and attached will require additional identity and condition checks, and a deduction may be made where handling, wear, alteration or damage has caused an actual reduction in value and where permitted by law.

Return Postage

UK change-of-mind returns: Returns are free. Please use the enclosed prepaid Royal Mail Special Delivery return bag and follow the instructions provided. If the prepaid return packaging is unavailable, please contact me before sending the item so that I can provide an appropriate prepaid return method.

International change-of-mind returns: You are responsible for arranging and paying for return postage unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise. An appropriate tracked service must be used with insurance covering the item's full purchase value. Please confirm that the carrier's insurance specifically covers jewellery, precious metals and gemstones, as some services exclude them.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If an item is faulty, damaged in transit or not as described when received, please contact me as soon as reasonably possible. I will provide the remedy required by applicable consumer law and arrange or cover reasonable return postage using an appropriate tracked and insured service where required.

For transit damage, please keep the item, outer box, inner packaging and shipping label and send clear photographs where possible. Photographs taken within 48 hours can be helpful when making a carrier claim, but this does not limit your statutory rights.

Refunds

Any refund due will be returned to the original payment method without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after I receive the returned item or receive evidence that it has been sent back, whichever occurs first. I may withhold the refund until I have received the item or evidence that it has been returned.

An eligible refund includes the price paid and any charge paid for the least expensive standard outbound delivery option offered when the order was placed. Any additional cost for a more expensive or express delivery service is not refundable unless required by law.

EU Right of Withdrawal

If your order is delivered to a consumer in the European Union, you normally have the right to notify me within 14 days of delivery that you wish to withdraw from the purchase without providing a reason. You must then return the item within a further 14 days.

You can notify me by email or another clear statement. The online withdrawal form is also available for convenience, but you do not have to use it.
