These Terms of Service govern your use of the Ps Its Vintage website and purchases made through www.psitsvintage.co.uk. Please read them before placing an order.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with the applicable Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory consumer rights.

About Ps Its Vintage
This website is operated by Ps Its Vintage, an independent jewellery business based in Northern Ireland. References to “I”, “me” or “my” in these Terms refer to Ps Its Vintage.
The online store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to display products and process orders.
Using the Website
You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, obtain unauthorised access to systems or data, or use the website in a way that infringes the rights of another person.
By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into the purchase contract.
Product Information
Ps Its Vintage specialises in preloved, vintage and antique jewellery. Unless an item is expressly described as new, you should expect a piece to show characteristics consistent with its age, previous use and history.
I take reasonable care to describe each item accurately, including relevant information about condition, materials, gemstones, hallmarks, measurements, weight, age and other characteristics where known or reasonably ascertainable.
Please read the complete product description and review all photographs before ordering. Product photographs form part of the information provided about the item and are intended to show its appearance and condition as clearly as reasonably possible.
Measurements and weights may be approximate where appropriate. Colours and appearance may also vary slightly depending on lighting, screen and device settings.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where an item is faulty, not as described, not of satisfactory quality taking account of its description and relevant circumstances, or otherwise gives rise to rights under applicable consumer law.
Prices and Payment
Product prices are displayed on the website in the currency selected or made available through the store.
Before you place an order, the checkout will display the price of the goods together with any mandatory delivery charges and other mandatory charges collected as part of the transaction so that you can see the amount payable before confirming your purchase.
Where customs duties, import taxes, carrier charges or other amounts may become payable separately in connection with an international order, further information is provided in the Shipping Policy.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout. Payment processing is handled through the payment providers made available through the Shopify store.
Placing an Order and Contract Formation
When you submit an order, you are offering to purchase the item or items shown in that order.
An automated order confirmation confirms that your order has been received. Unless that communication expressly confirms acceptance of the order, it does not by itself mean that the order has been accepted.
The purchase contract is formed when I accept your order and send confirmation that the order has been dispatched, unless I have expressly confirmed acceptance at an earlier stage.
If payment has already been taken for an order that I cannot accept, the amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method without undue delay.
Availability and One-Off Pieces
Most Ps Its Vintage jewellery is one of a kind and only one example is available. Orders are therefore subject to availability.
Although stock information is kept as accurate as reasonably possible, an item may occasionally become unavailable before the website updates, including where a piece has been sold at an event or through another sales channel.
If an ordered item is unavailable, I will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and refund any payment taken for that item.
Pricing and Listing Errors
I take reasonable care to ensure that prices, product details and other information displayed on the website are accurate.
If an obvious pricing or listing error is identified before an order has been accepted, I may contact you to explain the error and offer you the choice of proceeding on the corrected basis or cancelling the order. If the order is cancelled, any payment already taken will be refunded.
Nothing in this section allows Ps Its Vintage to change an agreed price after a binding purchase contract has been formed except where permitted by law or expressly agreed with you.
Delivery
Delivery methods, charges, estimated dispatch times, international shipping information and tracking arrangements are set out in the Shipping Policy.
Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address and check the delivery information supplied with your order. If you notice an error, please contact me as soon as possible.
Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, goods will be delivered within the period required by applicable consumer law. For UK consumer distance sales, this is normally no later than 30 days after the contract is made unless another delivery period has been agreed.
Delivery may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside my reasonable control. This does not remove any statutory right you may have where goods are delayed or not delivered.
Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Your rights to cancel an eligible distance purchase, return an item and receive a refund are explained in the Refund Policy.
For qualifying distance purchases, statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights apply in addition to any rights you may have where an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Items
Goods supplied by Ps Its Vintage must meet the standards required by applicable consumer law, including requirements concerning satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and accuracy of description where those requirements apply.
If an item arrives faulty, damaged in transit or not as described, please contact me as soon as reasonably possible so that the appropriate remedy can be arranged.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.
Customer Accounts
If you use a customer account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for providing accurate account information.
Please contact me if you believe that your account or login details have been used without your permission.
Third-Party Services and Links
The website may use or link to services provided by third parties, including payment, delivery, review, tracking, social-media and other service providers.
Independent third-party websites and services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Ps Its Vintage is not responsible for the content or availability of an independent third-party website merely because a link to it appears on this website.
Reviews and User Content
If you submit a review, comment or other content for publication, you are responsible for ensuring that the content is accurate to the best of your knowledge, lawful and does not infringe another person's rights.
Content may be moderated or removed where reasonably necessary, including where it is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, irrelevant, contains personal information that should not be public, or infringes another person's rights.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Ps Its Vintage website, branding, original product photographs, product descriptions, editorial content and other original material are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.
You may use the website for normal personal shopping and browsing. You must not reproduce, republish or commercially exploit original Ps Its Vintage content without permission except where such use is permitted by law.
Website Availability and Information
I aim to keep the website available and information current, but I cannot guarantee that the website will always operate without interruption or that every technical or typographical error will be identified immediately.
I may update, maintain, suspend or change parts of the website where reasonably necessary. This does not affect purchase contracts already formed or statutory rights relating to an existing order.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability arising from consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, Ps Its Vintage is responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of a breach of these Terms or a failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.
Ps Its Vintage is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses arising from a purchase made wholly for personal consumer purposes, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Events Outside Reasonable Control
I am not responsible for a failure or delay caused by circumstances genuinely outside my reasonable control.
If such circumstances materially affect an order, I will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect, keep you informed where appropriate and meet any obligations that continue to apply under consumer law.
Nothing in this section removes any cancellation, refund or other statutory right that applies to you.
Personal Information
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

If you are dissatisfied with an order, product or service, please contact me so that I have the opportunity to investigate and respond.

Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the website, business practices or legal requirements.
The terms applicable to a purchase are normally the version in effect when the order is placed. Later changes will not retrospectively reduce rights under an existing purchase contract unless required by law or expressly agreed with you.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply so far as legally possible.
Governing Law
These Terms and contracts made through Ps Its Vintage are governed by the laws applicable in Northern Ireland.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere, nothing in this section is intended to deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection available to you under applicable law.
