Antique Brooches

Antique brooches are one of those categories where the small details can tell you quite a lot. Victorian pieces might be floral, sentimental, crescent or horseshoe designs, while Edwardian brooches often become lighter and more delicate, with bars, bows, pearls and gemstones. Turn a brooch over and the fitting can be just as interesting as the front.
