Product Description

A large antique Victorian 9ct rose gold photo locket, Birmingham hallmarked for 1886 and decorated with hand-engraved foliate scrollwork to both sides. The front is engraved with the initials JJ, while the reverse can also be worn facing forward if preferred.

The locket opens to hold one or two small photographs or another tiny keepsake and retains one glass insert. It measures approximately 29.9mm x 26.8mm x 5.6mm and is supplied on a 19-inch chain in a similar rosy gold tone. Together they weigh approximately 7.6g, with no dents or damage noted to the locket.
