Antique Victorian 9ct Gold Hunting Horn Brooch with Silver Tips

An antique Victorian 9ct gold hunting horn brooch with sterling silver rims at the mouthpiece and bell. The contrasting metals give the horn a subtle two-colour finish, while the hunting horn motif gives the piece a clear equestrian character.

The hollow brooch measures approximately 38.1mm x 6.9mm and weighs around 1g. It fastens with a pin and C-hook, with the pin itself made from a non-gold metal. There are no visible stamps or hallmarks, and the gold body has been acid tested as 9ct gold. Its shape could also suit professional conversion into a pendant if preferred.
