Product Description

A wide Victorian sterling silver bangle featuring intricate engravings of birds, a butterfly and flowers. The birds are perched among flowering branches, with the detailed engraving standing out against a finely textured background. The decoration continues around both sides of the bangle and is characteristic of the Japanese-influenced Victorian Aesthetic Movement.

The bangle measures approximately 42.3mm wide and weighs 71.5g. It fastens with a push clasp and has a very small fit, suitable for a petite wrist measuring approximately 6 to 6.5 inches. There are no hallmarks or stamps, but the silver has been XRF and acid tested as sterling silver. There are a few small dings commensurate with age.
