An antique 9ct gold bar brooch set with seed pearls and green and purple paste stones. The green, white and purple colour combination is associated with Suffragette jewellery, although the colours alone do not confirm direct Suffragette provenance.
The brooch is hallmarked S.BROS, 9, 375, anchor and date letter i for Birmingham 1910. It is fitted with a C hook clasp, and the pin is not gold.
