An antique 9ct gold Suffragette bar brooch set with seed pearls and green and purple paste stones in the distinctive green, white and purple colour palette associated with the movement. Hallmarked Birmingham 1910, the brooch dates directly to the Suffragette era and has the classic look collectors associate with jewellery from the period.
The brooch is fitted with a C-hook clasp and has a non-gold pin. It measures approximately 44.6mm x 10.7mm, weighs approximately 2.1g and is hallmarked S.BROS, 9, 375, Birmingham anchor and date letter i for 1910. All stones and pearls are present.
