Vintage Sterling Silver Buckle Bangle Bracelet Chester 1939

An unusual wide vintage sterling silver buckle bangle bracelet in a round shape, with an engraved buckle design and adjustable belt-style fitting.

Fitted with 4 belt holes and a stud to adjust the fit, though it’s best worn on the first hole. The outside is engraved “To Agnes from Robert”. Stamped “Durban South Africa 29/4/42 (1942)” alongside JS, lion passant, Chester mark and date letter O (Chester 1939, Joseph Smith & Sons).
