Vintage 9ct Gold Shell Cameo Brooch with Two Ladies

A vintage 9ct gold shell cameo brooch with a delicately carved image of two ladies. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1983 and fitted with a traditional brooch fastening and safety chain.

The brooch is fitted with a rolling C clasp, pin and safety chain. It could also be worn as a pendant if the safety chain is removed and a large hoop is attached to wear it on a chain. It measures approximately 28.3mm in diameter and weighs approximately 6.9g.
