Originally made as watch chains, Albert chains are recognised by fittings such as T-bars, dog clips and swivel clasps. This collection includes antique and vintage examples in gold and sterling silver, with everything from substantial curb links to finer and more decorative link patterns.
Today, many Albert chains are worn as necklaces, either on their own or with a fob, pendant or charm attached to the clip. Length, weight, link style and the original fittings can vary considerably, which gives each chain a noticeably different look and feel.
